Vehicle Availability

All vehicles remain subject to prior sale. A listing, quotation or website display does not guarantee that a vehicle will remain available until payment or reservation is confirmed.

Vehicle Condition

Used vehicles may have scratches, dents, paint fading, corrosion, interior wear, repaired areas or age-related mechanical conditions. Unless agreed in writing, vehicles are sold without a future-performance warranty.

Auction Bid Instructions

• The customer must confirm the correct vehicle and bid amount.
• A submitted bid instruction is treated as final.
• A successfully purchased auction vehicle cannot normally be cancelled.

Auction Information

Auction sheets, grades and comments are assessments prepared by the auction house. iCar Japan provides this information for reference but does not independently guarantee every auction-house statement.

Price Information

Depending on the quotation, the total price may include the vehicle, auction fees, inland transport, export processing, freight and other stated services. Destination charges, import tax and customs duty are normally paid by the customer.

Payment Requirements

• Each invoice should be paid separately unless approved otherwise.
• All bank and transfer charges are the customer’s responsibility.
• Payment must be completed within the invoice deadline.

Shipping Schedule

Estimated departure and arrival dates are not guaranteed. Schedules may change due to weather, port congestion, vessel rotation, government inspection, carrier decisions or other circumstances outside our control.

Export Documents

Documents may include the commercial invoice, export certificate, Bill of Lading and other applicable export paperwork. Customers must check consignee and shipment details promptly.

Import Eligibility

The customer is responsible for confirming vehicle age limits, emissions requirements, safety standards, customs rules and registration eligibility in the destination country.

Destination Costs

Port fees, customs duty, tax, clearance costs, storage, inspection and registration costs at destination are the customer’s responsibility unless specifically included in writing.

Cancellation

Cancellation is generally unavailable after a vehicle has been purchased, an auction bid has succeeded, export processing has started or shipping arrangements have been confirmed.

Refunds

Any refund approved by iCar Japan may be reduced by bank charges, auction costs, inland transport, storage, documentation, administrative expenses and other costs already incurred.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, iCar Japan is not responsible for indirect losses, lost profit, customs penalties, import refusal, destination delays or mechanical issues occurring after shipment.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Japan. Disputes shall be handled by the competent courts of Japan unless mandatory applicable law requires otherwise.
