Profile & Account Information

Accurate account details help us prepare invoices, verify payments, arrange documents, communicate updates, and reduce delays.

Personal & Company Details

Customers may review their name, company name, contact details, address, destination, and other account information. Some verified details may require support-team approval before changes become effective.

Consignee Information

Consignee information should match shipping and import documents. Changes requested after booking or document preparation may be limited and may result in carrier, amendment, or administrative charges.

Identity & Verification

Customers may be asked to provide identification, company registration, payer details, or other supporting information for KYC, payment verification, fraud prevention, or legal compliance.

Account Security

Keep your password confidential and do not share login information with unauthorized persons. Contact us immediately if you believe your account, email, or payment details have been compromised.

Information Accuracy

Customers are responsible for reviewing account, invoice, vehicle, consignee, and destination details before confirming a purchase or payment. Incorrect information may delay shipment, documents, customs clearance, or delivery.

Orders, Saved Vehicles & Auction Requests

Organize vehicle selections and monitor the progress of confirmed purchases and auction requests.

My Orders

The order area may show the vehicle, chassis number, invoice number, order date, total amount, payment status, service status, shipping stage, and available documents.

Saved Vehicles

Saving a vehicle does not reserve it. Stock may be sold, removed, repriced, or changed before payment and final confirmation.

Watchlist

The watchlist may help customers follow vehicles of interest, but availability, auction timing, price, and condition may change without notice.

Auction Requests

Customers should submit auction requests before 8:00 PM Japan time. Confirm the correct vehicle, auction lot, maximum bid, and purchasing instructions before submitting a request.

Possible Order Statuses

Status Meaning
Pending Confirmation The vehicle, price, invoice, or purchasing details are still being reviewed.
Reserved The vehicle is temporarily held subject to payment and reservation terms.
Purchased The vehicle has been successfully purchased or confirmed for the customer.
Preparing for Shipment Payment, servicing, yard transfer, documentation, or booking work is underway.
Shipped The vehicle has departed or has been handed over under the confirmed shipping arrangement.
Completed The main transaction and shipping-document process has been completed.

Payments, Invoices & Refunds

Review financial records and follow payment allocation for each invoice.

Payment History

Payment records may show the invoice number, amount, date received, payer name, payment method, allocation status, and remaining balance.

Invoice Download

Customers should use only official invoices provided through iCar Japan or an authorized communication channel. Verify beneficiary and vehicle information before making payment.

Separate Invoice Payments

Each invoice should normally be paid separately and the correct invoice number should be included on the transfer receipt to support accurate allocation.

Third-Party Payments

A payment made by another person or business may require payer identification, written authorization, an acknowledgement letter, and proof of the relationship with the customer.

Banking Responsibility

iCar Japan and TMT Corporation operate as a joint venture. TMT Corporation handles payment and banking activities from the Japan side. Customers must pay only to the beneficiary account stated on the official invoice.

Account records may require processing time after a bank transfer. Contact our team when a payment remains unmatched and include the invoice number and transfer receipt.

Shipping Status, Documents & Notifications

Follow operational updates and access the documents connected to your vehicle.

Shipping Status

Status updates may include yard transfer, servicing, booking request, booking confirmation, vessel name, port of loading, departure, transshipment, arrival, or document readiness.

Shipping Schedules

Vessel dates are estimates and may change because of weather, congestion, carrier operations, customs, documentation, route changes, or limited space.

Document Center

Available documents may include invoices, export certificates, bills of lading, inspection certificates, receipts, vehicle photographs, and related shipping files.

Notifications

Customers may receive notices about auction results, payment deadlines, account verification, vehicle preparation, booking status, shipment, documents, or support requests.

Important Notification Responsibility

Customers should keep their email address and contact details current and review account notifications regularly. Missing a payment, verification, booking, or document deadline may affect the transaction or shipping schedule.
